Instructional Design
We take great care to convert your existing Handbook and other staff training documents, to online delivery. Vital Camps is responsible for the actual design but you will be consulted throughout the process, and you always have final say on design.
Interactions
In order to engage staff during the online training, we apply a selection of different interactions in the instructional design. These include drag the words, fill the gap, hotspots on a map, dialogue cards, accordion dropdown, collage, timeline, etc.
Quizzes
Staff can be required to answer quiz questions at the end of each chapter. This enforces learning and helps retain information. All questions will be customized to your camp and your content.
Quizzes can be linked to successful completion of a chapter, after which a Certificate (branded to your camp) is issued. Quizzes are typically multiple-choice.
Reporting
All staff progress is tracked in our database. As an Administrator you will have access to Reporting 24/7. You can see who has completed, who is in progress, who passed their quizzes, etc.
Vital Camps takes an active role in ensuring staff complete the content. Reminders are emailed in the weeks leading up to in-person training.
